1) The four-sided family
Cut out a collection of four-sided shapes
You will need: paper, scissors , ruler

make your shapes. Try to make them different from each other, but remember they
must all have four sides.

have sides that are the same length? Measure them with a ruler to find out. Do

On card draw a square with sides of about 8cm . Cut it out . Copy
the pattern shown below by drawing around your cut out square.

You will need :
empty kitchen roll , ruler , scissors , coloured card , glue , tape , felt pen

First cut a piece of card large enough to cover the empty kitchen
roll . Glue this cover the kitchen roll , then decorate it .

Cut out two circles of card about 15cm across. Cut from the edge
of each circle to the centre. Overlap each circle to make the cone
shaped top and base. Stick in place with tape and decorate with
felt pen .
